The Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet seats 4, reaches 190 mph and makes 443 hp, and rents for $599 per day.
A Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet in deep blue, with a red leather cabin down to the steering wheel. The script on the tail reads 911 Carrera S. Behind the rear axle sits a twin-turbo 3.0-liter flat-six making 443 hp at 6,500 rpm, plus about 390 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed PDK dual-clutch gearbox drives the rear wheels.
A Sport Chrono clock sits on top of the dash, and with that package the sprint to 60 mph takes about 3.5 seconds. Top speed is around 190 mph. PASM adaptive dampers and quick steering keep it settled whether the roof is open or closed.
The fabric top is power-operated and folds away in seconds. Round headlights, wide rear hips and a sloping tail keep the familiar 911 outline. The five-spoke wheels are polished on the face and painted blue between the spokes, over red brake calipers. Inside, the tachometer sits in the middle of the gauges in the traditional 911 layout, with two small rear seats behind the front pair.
There are two 911s in the fleet. The GT3 is the track car; this one suits a slow run over the MacArthur Causeway with the roof folded.
