The Ferrari 296 GTS Assetto Fiorano seats 2, reaches 205 mph and makes 830 hp, and rents for $2,195 per day.
The Ferrari 296 GTS Assetto Fiorano is a two-seat spider with a retractable hardtop and a plug-in hybrid drivetrain. A twin-turbo V6, its cylinder banks set 120 degrees apart, sits behind the cabin and works with an electric motor. Together they make about 830 hp, which goes only to the rear wheels through a dual-clutch gearbox. It needs about 2.9 seconds to reach 62 mph and tops out above 205 mph.
Assetto Fiorano is the lighter, track-minded version of the 296. The package brings weight-saving materials, its own suspension tuning, extra aerodynamic parts, more exposed carbon fiber and its own wheel options. This one runs on Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires.
The paint is red, with a blue livery over the nose and across the tail, and the brake calipers are yellow. Inside, the black seats have blue piping and stitching, red seat belts and a red Prancing Horse on each headrest. The steering wheel has a carbon-fiber rim with an Italian-flag band at the top.
The cockpit is compact and built around the driver, with digital displays and a simple dashboard. Fold the roof away and the cabin opens to the Miami sky.
